Abstract: Writing this paper aims to discuss the values of vocational education the right was developed in vocational high school. So that vocational high school have character innovative, creative, productive, competitively, and grow a sustainable future front as well as the principles, policies, strategies and challenges development of the values education in vocational high schools. Development of the value education in vocational high schools are required to build professional values education continuing vocational future. The value education of vocational build independence rational learners to find maximum benefit, the vocational high schools can learn from global values to develop local values and support the development of locally in the context of globalization. In doing uptake of global value, vocational high schools are advised to use the three theories, namely: (1) the theory of trees, (2) the theory of crystal, (3) the theory of the bird cage.

Abstract: Academic libraries are known as major contributors to students learning on campus, thus, as an important department within higher education institutes and the informal learning space is not known much these days. Therefore, this study strives to discuss about learning space service quality toward user satisfaction at the Tunku Tun Aminah Library (Technical University’s Library). Indeed, it is of high importance to determine how the change in space impacts library users such as ‘students’ perception’ of the learning space which incorporates elements. These identified elements of providing normal learning space mainly consist of ventilated facilities, lighting, size, sound effect, colors and furniture. Hence, this study utilized survey as an instrument and randomly distributed to 339 students who have used the library. The data were analyzed by Rasch measurement model (WINSTEP 3.69.1.11) and the results show that library users’ were moderatley satisfied with learning space (i.e. Iqra’ Room) provided by the library.

Abstract: The aim of this study is to investigate the different leadership styles of the workers and the influence of gender and culture on the leadership styles of the workers in Faculty of Technical and Vocational Education (FPTV), Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM). These studies concentrate on two leadership styles which are transformational leadership and transactional leadership. Transformational leadership and transactional leadership styles have attracted the interest of many researchers in recent time. While some believe that they are the same, others believe they are different. This paper gives an introductory perspective into the difference between transformational and transactional leadership in context of the influence of culture on leadership style in FPTV. Selected sample consist of 123 staff from all department in FPTV. In order to implement this study, questionnaire has been used to collect data from respondent. The raw data obtained was analyzed quantitatively by SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Science) version 20.0. The data was analyzed using descriptive analysis and scoring. The study found that in FPTV, the leader is prone to be more transformational than transactional. Although they are conceptually different, some elements of transactional leadership exist in transformational leadership. It also shows that there is no gender influence upon leadership styles. In contrast, culture exerts a little more impact on leadership style in FPTV.
